2 tsp International Collection Sweet Almond Oil
150g Ground almonds
250g Butter
300g Golden caster sugar
4 Large eggs
300g Self-raising flour
80g Flaked almonds

Preheat oven to 350ºF

Put the Almond Oil, sugar and butter in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.

Slowly add the eggs and a little of the flour.

Mix the remaining flour and ground almonds.

Spoon the mixture into a buttered baking tin and smooth the surface.

Sprinkle with flaked almonds

Bake in the centre of the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Serve drizzled with International Collection Sweet Almond Oil. |
